Zurich, Daniel Spoerri et al., 1991.
As early as 1961, Spoerri created his first ‘bread dough objects’, in which he had waste baked into bread. He showed these at the ‘L'épicerie’ exhibition at the Addi Køpcke Gallery in Copenhagen. These were later followed by filled objects with dough that leaked out during baking.
